Are there really inalienable human rights?
Yes.
If you answered yes answer the following: Considering your belief on this, what are the inalienable human rights? What does this mean for people living in failed states? If people are being stripped of their inalienable rights does the free world have an obligation to intervene and protect them?
When humans are born, they need food, water, sleep, shelter, and love. I believe these needs are innate and because of that, they are inalienable human rights. For the people living in failed states, these rights are either not provided or taken away. In my personal belief, I think that the world should absolutely intervene. Although we are made up of many different countries, we are still one world. And we are all people on the one, same world. Many countries ignore the cries of help but I think even with no economic or political gain, the world should help the impoverished, countries.
