The Election

I did my best to try and keep up with the election. It was very exciting. All of the campaigning and calling and videos and money and debates...the list goes on and on. In the end, Obama is going to receive the 270 electoral college votes he needs to be re-elected to president. It was a sad victory for me. I was really hoping Romney would come from behind, fight hard-which he did- and sweep in for tr win. He had many votes but Ohio and Florida were the states that have Obama the win. I personally believe that this could be a possible disaster for the well- being of the United States but I am hoping the next four years prove me wrong. I will be concerned for Illinois government considering it is completely Democratc but hopefully nothing bad will  happen to us all. I am so grateful to be in a country where we have the opportunity to vote and be a part of government. God Bless America!
